Class Gift

UC Merced Class Gift 2010

UC Merced graduates have created the tradition of giving a gift to the University upon graduation. Graduates work hard to fundraise throughout the spring semester. Each year, the graduating class unveils the gift at their Commencement Ceremony.

To encourage graduates to give and to underline the importance of giving back, the Westly Foundation established the Westly Foundation Class Gift Match Program which matches grad gifts dollar for dollar.  This generous gift from the Westly Foundation also comes with a gift to establish a UC Merced Alumni Assocation Scholarship endowment for continuing students.
